I am currently a Junior at Big 10 University. I have received a C's in alot of the biology courses taken at the university including anatomy and biochemistry. My GPA is hovering around a 2.8. Would you recommend I retake the courses I got a C in? Do pharmacy school frown upon taking a course the second time? Biology is a very difficult subject for me to do well in. I have asked others that are currently majoring it and tried to adopt their studying styles. I am not sure what to do at this point.

I would recommend retaking them only if you are sure that you will get a solid grade B+ or higher. If you have good explanations for the bad grades (other than that they are tough for you) the pharmacy school will consider that when reviewing your application. Maybe if you do well in the PCAT it can help them not put to much stress on those courses that you haven't done well in.
