I know you get a lot of questions about this, but are prereqs taken at a CC a deal breaker? I am planning on taking phys and bio full year next year, and need to decide between the two. The CC would save so much $$. Has anyone talked to adcoms about this?

Taking some stuff at CC is no problem. As long as you do well and show you can also perform just as well at a university, no one will question this.

4-year is preferable, but a community college is not a deal breaker.

The only reason to take anything at CC is if you can't afford a 4 year university. If you are taking classes at a CC, just make sure that your subsequent performance at a 4 year uni does not give ADCOMs a reason to think you could only handle CC coursework.

Concur here. You DO have to prove that you have handle a heavy course load though, and I'd say that if you ONLY if took your pre-reqs at a CC, and took them spaced out over a long time, that you'd be viewed less favorably by the AdCom.
