I'm a little confused about Western U's prereq-in-progress statement. On their website it says under the FAQ:
Can I have prerequisite courses in progress at the time of application? How many?
Yes. While we do not have a set number of courses you must have completed at the time of application, we recommend that you have at least 3/4 of the prerequisites completed by the time of application. Doing so will provide, for the admissions committee, a clearer picture of your academic preparation for the program. Should you be accepted, all prerequisites MUST be completed prior to matriculation.
Yet on the supplemental application it says on page 3 of 5:
Prerequisite courses may not be taken after the spring semester or spring quarter term 2009.
Er, the application didn't open until June, so how was one supposed to know that none of the prereqs could be completed after June??

I know I should ask Western but I thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone had asked the same question to the Western adcom, since I'll have to wait til Monday to ask them directly. I have 4 preqs that will be completed after spring 2009. I'm hoping they just didn't update this section of the app from last year.

do u mean spring 2010?

I know one classmate was allowed to do anatomy in the summer....

But usually they want everything by spring

if u have 4 classes left for the summer, that sounds like too much, u should reconsider ur schedule maybe.

No, I meant it says "spring 2009", which contradicts every other part of their site. But never mind, I'm sure they really meant spring 2010.

I have 3 classes in the summer, which I'm already taking. Public Speaking, Microecon, and Microbiology. It isn't too heavy a load, I think. I have one last class in fall, Anatomy.
