Yes, in applying for more than one pharmacy school, you need to fulfill the pre-requisite courses for all the individual schools. That means there may be courses you will have to take that is a pre-req for one school but is not a pre-req for another.

yea

look at USC; ridiculous

but i think schools w/ more pre-reqs are better in the long run in that you don't have to take some of those classes again in pharm school (like USC)

UNLESS it makes more sense for you to get a B.S. in bio or chem prior to entrance... then all bets are off and many of the less necessary pre-req's no longer apply. Pre-req's are for NON-GRAD students only.

You will still need through O-chem and 8 credits of science bio to even touch the pcat though, however, if you have a B.S. in biology or chemistry then no one cares if you had economics or statistics.

nothing to be confused about! find out what classes are needed to apply for each school, complete it and apply! requirements will vary depending on the school.

Yea, it took me like 2.5 years finishing prerequisites for 7 different schools. I had several quarters when I had to take more than 20 quarter credits. This is what I did: I picked 5 schools that I really wanted to go to. I completed all their prerequisites and added 2 more schools that has prerequisites similar to the 5 schools that I picked.

I disagree RxRob, I have a BS in Chemistry and I still had to go back to freshman economics and stats. Sucked being a graduate in a freshman class. They were all asking me to do their g-chem homework lol

i dont thats true...because then why do they still calculate pre-req GPA even if you have a BA or BS?

All pre reqs MUST be completed by EVERYBODY that is applying for admission. I don't think that there is any school that has a different rule about this.
