Hi

I'd be very grateful if someone who is familiar with CCSF and transfer courses could help me out! I've already graduated from a UC, but I didn't finish all of my prerequisites yet for dental school, still need 1 quarter or semester of English (I took 2 quarters so far), and 1 quarter of General Psychology. I used ASSIST.org, "to" UCSF Dental and "from" City College of San Francisco. For these courses, they gave "PSYC 1" for General Psychology, and "ENGL 1A & 1B". Does this mean I have to take ENGL 1A *AND* ENGL 1B to satisfy 1 quarter of English composition? And if so, do you know if I can take them both in a single semester? Thanks a lot! :luck:

Anyone familiar enough with CCSF to be able to help? 🙁

I was planning on taking some online ccsf for english next semester... depending on what school I get into my AP scores are good enough for my prereqs, but I'm pretty sure 1A/1B are 2 diff semesters?

Have you tried ASSIST from ccsf to a regular uc?

Does online CCSF count for prerequisites? And is it easier than not-online CCSF?

Yeah it looks like 1A/1B are 2 different semesters 🙁 I did try ASSIST from CCSF to a regular UC, but I'm not really sure what I can conclude. It seems I've already taken the UC equivalent of "ENGL 1B" ...so not sure what that means. I guess I'll have to talk to an advisor 😛 Thanks!
