I will be starting dental school in the fall and need to begin collecting teeth. I was told to use a 10% bleach solution to preserve the teeth but after a bit of research on SDN, I found that others have had more success storing their teeth in a 10% solution of formalin as the bleach solutions can make teeth brittle. To those of you who have needed to preserve teeth in the past, which solution would you recommend?

We store them in bleach initially and then in yellow Listerine long term. That preserves them well and gets them nice and white.
