Pret-test vs. casefiles?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
In preparing for step 2, Ive heard great things about both of these...anyone have any advise on which one they preferred?

Thanks, goodluck

These titles are fine for the core rotations, but I actually know of no one who used these for step 2. The common texts are FA, Crush, Secrets, Boards and Wards, Deja Review. But I'd say 90% of your studying for step 2 should come from World/qbank explanations. Doing problems and learning from the explanations is how most people get the most bang for the buck for CK.

Thanks again for the post, I think Im going to just focus on the u-world. I appreciate it.

I know one friend who re-read the case files series (took about 2 days per book) and then did all UWorld who did well. My strategy is Secrets/Uworld, but if I have some free time during my next 9 weeks of required rotations I will re-read case files for the earlier rotations.
