PreTest Histo/Anatomy questions

I am working through this book for Histo and Anatomy shelfs and many of these questions have really long intro's with a lot of information that is not needed for the question. Is this how the shelf questions are for either of these exams? Thanks!

From what I read, being able to figure out what the question is asking is a task in and of itself. I tried some usmleworld q's for anatomy and biochem shelf and had o read questions over a couple time to get that click.
