Pretest Surgery errors

On other surgery threads, many state that there were a lot of errors in pretest. I will be buying the latest edition (11th, 2006) soon. Can anyone post specifically what errors that were found (i.e. page #'s)? I really hate to learn the wrong info close to the shelf exam.

I have heard that this book sucks. It would be a waste of $$ to purchase. Students have suggested that NMS casebook is the way to go.

yeah i know. i am tempted to get the nms casebook but i really would like a MCQ book.

I used pre-test for surgery and while I did fine on the test there were a huge number of errors. I couldn't imagine using them on here. Most of the errors were such that you could pretty easily see what the mistake was and not learn it wrong. Also, it seems like some of the questions are not written to be like questions on the exam but just as a way to get specific information covered. If you are choosing which to buy I wouldn't go with pre-test but if you got it free like I did its totally doable and you'll still learn the info its just a pain sometimes.
