Why isn't htere a forumn for preventive medicine? Or does this specialty fall under a broader group?

there isnt enough demand for a forum specifically for preventative or occupational medicine. the moderators dont care to add it. there doesnt seem to be anyone on SDN who has enough expertise to provide guidance or advice in preventative/occ med. i do agree with you though; i wish there were such a forum.

There are other specialties that aren't individually represented with their own forums...it's really an issue of demand. Probably, preventive medicine issues can be best discussed in family medicine.
