which cusp is larger MB OR ML?

is number 2's statement correct? my book says post teeth only have a prominet buccal cervical ridge

the MB cusp is almost equal in size or slightly larger than the ML cusp

as far as i know the cervical ridge on primary molars is on the mesial aspect of the buccal surface (sometimes called a buccal cingulum)
as for the anterior teeth, there is a prominent cervical ridge on the facial surface and an also prominent cingula on the lingual surface

It really depends on which book you're reading. Some books say that ML > MB; some say that MB > ML.

cusp size order from largest to smallest on the mx 2 molar is ml, mb, db, dl for the first molar its ml, mb, dl, db

also for primary teeth the ridge is just prominent on the buccal side for posterior teeth...at least thats what we were taught
