So in my personal statement, I refer to a disadvantaged individual within an organization and how I helped him. However, I gave him a generic name that is not really his name. Essentially, there is no way to validate that this person exists, even if adcoms call the organization. I gave him a generic name to maintain his anonymity. Will this be a problem? Do adcoms actually verify this type of information? I don't want to be seen as lying. Sorry if this comes off as neurotism, I've just heard of the horror stories of applicants with admissions being rescinded.
In other words, how do they verify "experiences" instead of "activity" besides clearly lying at the interview.
This is fine.

This is fine. They will not verify the existence of a single person. They likely won’t verify anything unless something stands out as atypical within your narrative.
