If you've never taken a TPR course, will TPR not consider your application to be an MCAT instructor?

I'm asking this I have not received a response on my application even when my MCAT score is well above the cutoff. My friends who have lower scores but have taken the TPR course have received invites to apply and become an instructor.

I don't think so. here are a list of their job requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation and communication skills
  • Maturity, reliability, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Evening and/or weekend availability
  • Reliable transportation
  • Solid science background in your chosen MCAT subject
  • Strong score on short MCAT qualifying content test
  • Teaching audition
  • Training program

They will. I never took a TPR course before, and I was hired. However, they never got back to me through email. I had to go directly to the office and ask about the position for anything to happen.

I never took the TPR course and I got an email back for an interview and was hired. I think it just depends on the needs of the office that you're applying to at the time.

As a former TPR employee, I can confidently say that taking a TPR course is not a prerequisite to being an instructor. If you want a job, call them and apply.

You dont even have to take the mcat to teach their mcat classes
