I submitted my application 6/29, GPA was verified on 7/23, and application mailed 8/06. Now im really scared!!!

I submitted mine online July 5. Not sure when GPAs were calculated (but it was about two weeks or less, because I wasn't looking until then). Printout mailed today. So it seems that just about one month is what it takes.
Is it not ridiculous that we are relying on mail and hard copies of things? The entire system is a joke. Why the schools don't get to directly tap into the AADSAS database is a mystery to me.

I submitted July 7th as well but mine says it's not mailed out yet! It just says.:

WTF? Why didn't they mail mine too!? They finally changed my LOR status as received with todays date on it. Is that why it wasn't mailed cuz they finally just "received" my LORs which is really when I think they updated it cuz I think they've been received for awhile now.
Decan when did your letters show up as received? Should I call AADSAS and see what's up....man I read your alls post and got so excited that mine woudl be mailed too but nooooooooooo not yet 😡

they should be able to process your application (send it out) reguardless of whether they have your LOE's. I'd call/email them if you are really worried about them sending out your app soon. sorry for all the problems, AADSAS is a pain in the *ss

i think i'm gonna cry 🙁
i dont' understand why my stuff always gets messed up! I called them and they said it takes 4-8 weeks and that there's still time left considering I submitted july7th. I know there's still time but it's frustrating to see that people who submitted the same day as me and got verified when I did have been mailed out. You're right they should've mailed at least what they did have even if they didn't update my LORs until now. AHHHHHhhh so frustrating, what do I do now? Call again and say I know you mail without LORs and My awesome SDN ppl tell me you mailed stuff out today why wasn't mine mailed too pleaseeee?

I sumitted mine on July 05. verified on 7/23 and mailed on 8/06. seem like lots of applications are sent out on 8/06. do you guys think this is the second batch that they sent out?

[Remember, the date which your application is mailed out is 4-8 weeks after all materials are recieved. So, if one of your transcripts was recieved, let's say July 11th, it should take 4 weeks from that date for all materials to be mailed out. Hope this helps some.]

which part of "the date which your application is mailed out is 4-8 weeks after all materials are recieved" is confusing u?
u should not compare only the date that u submitted with others..
maybe they submitted the transcript much earlier than you did, and it was verified early, thus mailed out early.
nevertheless, yours should be mailed out soon since it does show it's been verified

A lot of you are freaking out because they are taking a while but it's probably because of the high volume of applicants. I know many ppl on SDN who submitted early June took less than a week for the GPA to be verified and a week to get mailed out. Some schools I received emails from said they are still getting their 2007 entering class that they won't be looking at apps until September. No worries everyone! I would like to think the SDNers that make up a small % of the applicant pool will all get at least a few interview invites 🙂
