I don't know if it's just me but the prior authorization/ Evicore nonsense feels like it's gone to a whole new level.

I even had patients literally praying that their treatments would get approved.

I've been documenting the decisions thoroughly and including the physician's name I spoke with. I think they should be held liable as they are making a decision affecting the patient's care.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks on getting things approved?
