Which is the major contributing structure of DMSO
Is it the one with an octet on the sulfur and separation of charges, or the one with one more covalent bond and 10 valence electrons on the sulfur? Which rules have priority?
(Sulfur is a 3rd row element)
i'm assuming the octet is most important but need to know for sure
