I was wondering since some of these private medical schools that don't discriminate against out-of-state applicants and have lower MCAT averages get like anywhere from 4,000-8,000 applicants-which is way more than state-sponsored schools- if applying to them really doesn't up your chances of getting accepted ( or lowers or at least stays the same)? I applied to several- but the high prices turned me off- and the high number of applications- its ridiculous.
What do you guys think about that? 😕
