Hey guys,

So I just took my DAT today, actually about 2 hours ago, and well here are my scores:

PAT: 21
QR: 21
RC: 21
BIO: 21
G-Chem: 26
O-Chem: 19
TS: 21
AA: 22

Overall GPA 4.0.... Science GPA 4.0

So what is the likelihood I will get in Stonybrook University?
It is really the only dental school I want to go to, the others are NYU, and Columbia (I want to stay local)

So what's the likelihood of getting into any of them?

Stonybrook average gpa: 3.65.. DAT average 21/21/20

None of us are adcoms, so we cannot give an exact probability. But based on common sense, you have a great chance at Stony and others that you mentioned. Unless the rest of your application was horrible (which I doubt), you have a great shot. As someone with a 4.0, you should have already predicted that 😉

If you want an arbitrary number, 42. Its definitely the best one.

Like diene said above, your chances are good, apply to your 3 chosen school but apply to a few others as well. Stony Brook is pretty darn competitive and their class is tiny so even with your stats you might have to struggle a little bit. Columbia can be really picky as well. I hope you get into either of those, but as anyone will tell you, cast a pretty wide net and apply to a couple more schools just in case!

If you have applied to the normally recommended 6-15 schools, then ignore my "apply to more schools" bit 🙂
