I am taking the topscore practice tests and there seem to be a lot of probability problems in the QR section. Kaplan did not have any of these in their QR section so I was wondering if they are on the real DAT or not.

Kaplan has them... and yes they will be on the real exam. and yes its worth your time to learn them.

the probability questions that show up on topscore/kaplan and DAT are mostly very easy, you can solve by common sense, there maybe 1 or 2 questions that are tougher, but if you get them that just means you are unlucky and it shouldn't affect your score too much. Remember, schools don't look at QR 🙂

What? really? Can you elaborate?
Most of the schools don't care about that section of the DAT, you see several sdners get in to dental school with 13QR. and you can also call the schools and ask them. Some admissions office even told me that they don't look at QR at all.

don't generalize it with the fact of your friend's specific case.
👍 i believe kpark is right... I think it is there for a reason. You should always try to do your best in every section. I mean dont bash on me... one could make a case stating that everyone of us has been learning and practicing math since kinder-garden unlike organic chemistry... how come you can score higher on organic but not math... do you get what i am saying... :luck: anyways good luck guys
