probably the BEST step 2 CK plan

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Good advice, how did you do in CK using your study method? Did you see a big jump in your score when you did the uworld assessment (assuming UWSA CK done after uworld CK exhausted, and then uworld step 3 assessment after uworld3?)

No offense. But it's really funny that you wrote all that thread vouching for UW step 3 but you never reported your CK score!

No offense taken

I posted my score...I guess it matters or NOT?.....you dont judge the plan based on how well ONE PERSON did.... just see if this plan looks good and will work for you and take what you need! I'm sure there are people who studied 1 week and got like 270 that doesn't necessarily mean you would follow their plan RIGHt??

So at our school we end up taking about 35 NBMEs by the time we graduate...I am pretty comfortable with taking tests and I am not one of those students that are constantly checking their USMLE scores -you dont judge the plan based on how well ONE PERSON did..... just see if this plan looks good and will work for you and take what you need! I am also 99.999% sure I matched since I did 1/2 rotations at our own hospital and worked very very closely with the PD during the rotation of my choice and after the interview she told me "done deal" also PD is a relative and may or may not have told me I had a great shot and not to worry on match day...so honestly not alot fp ressure to do well

I usually just keep a mental note of how many questions I am getting wrong - started getting about 30 correct on each block and by the end of studying was nearing 40s

To the private message I received:

-matching in a EROAD specialty (EM, Rads, optho, anesthesiology, derm)

-To sum it all up I think UWORLD Step 3 if anything trained me to read faster
-question stems in UWORLD step 3 are ALOT LONGER with juicier details compared to step 2 UWORLD
-so it really built my stamina when I finally finally got to the real thing and I don't think I dissapointed too badly (score was above the national mean I believe)

-step 2 UWORLD has shorter question stems for the most part (compared to my shelf exams and real-deal)

-Concepts and topics are also almost exactly the same in step 2 and step 3 (that's why MTB-2,3 are used interchangeably)
