So, I just took the USMLEWorld Self-Assessment Form 1. I had just finished three out of the four blocks, when something happened, and my fourth block was submitted without me having filled in any answers. Thus, every question in the fourth block was marked as incorrect.

Based on that, the computer returned a score of 178. Obviously, this doesn't indicate my real score as I never had a chance to submit my answers to the fourth block. I tried extrapolating (using the number of questions I got correct with my three-digit score), and I wound up with a 230 to 240.

I have two questions:

1. I doubt the extrapolation is correct, as correct answers have lower value in terms of points the farther you get away from the failing threshold. That is, if you get a question right and you're around a score of 185, it's worth more than if you get a question right and you're around a score of 240. Is there any more accurate way to predict a score aside from a simple extrapolation?

2. How accurate are the USMLEWorld exams? I've heard anything from them being very accurate to them overestimating your score by about 10 points.

3. Should I assume that I passed considering I had a score of 178 with a whole block marked as incorrect?

I would certainly assume passing. If it helps, I got 56% of the questions on the UW assessment 1 correct and it scored me at 209.
