Hi!

Right now I am facing a problem with the coursework section. I already e-submitted and my GPA has been verified but it looks like they combined all my IB credits and AP credits without including the course names and numbers.

Since my school does not allow the IB and AP credits to be included in the official transcript, they send out verified certificates of my credits including the letter that states the specificity of the course that was accepted by the university.

AADSAS is saying that because it's not on my official transcript, they are not allowed to add the number and name of the course in the coursework section.

Does anyone have or had this problem? Just because my school policy is different than majority, the credits cannot be accepted as official? Thanks in advance!

Hey! I've got a similar issue. My undergrad school grouped all my AP credit classes together and named them as "AP CREDITS". That's how you have to enter them on AADSAS. If your AP Credits include classes that are pre-requisites, I would call each of the schools and tell them the situation. Like you said, your undergrad school will send out a verified certificate/letter with the specific courses upon request. It seemed to be a pretty routine procedure when I talked to my undergrad university.

This is what I'm doing:
Called the schools I applied to: some said to request the letter sent directly to the specific Dental School only when contacted for secondary applications and others said to send it to them before, etc.

I know it was a little unnerving to not have the classes explicitly stated, but it doesn't seem to be an issue at all. Just call the schools you applied to and ask them!

This is a BIG relief! Thank you so much!
When I talked to AADSAS, they said they would send all the "supplemental" documents to dental schools that were sent to AADSAS. Maybe if I tell them this situation, I don't really need to send them extra certificates and letters?
Anyways, I REALLY thank you for the information 😀
(they need to make better policies regarding this)

No problem!

I'm not sure who you mean by 'them' (schools or AADSAS), but I know everyone I talked to said to send that kind of info directly to the schools. 😉
