Anyone have any strategies for doing angle ranking problems, where the angles are oriented differently? Thank you.

I have posted a problem from the DAT bootcamp generator. If you could explain your strategy and how you approach this, I would really appreciate it.

By the way the answer to this problem is B (1 = 64, 2 = 57, 3 = 54, and 4 = 60 degrees)

Thank you for your time.

Honestly I just tilt my head until the angle looks better. It might be a poor strategy for some people but it worked for me (but it left my neck in a lot of pain lol)

I struggle big time with angle ranking, but something that just recently helped me is I focus on just the very inside of the angle. Your eyes can trick you when you look at the whole angle. So just focus on the very inside of the angle (the vector point) and go back and forth between the two you are comparing. Its helped a bit.

This is a good technique if you're struggling with some very acute angles. I also suggest imagining that the angle is the side view of a laptop. Try and decide which laptop is more "open."

Just tilt your head a little or do a headstand to make it "correctly" oriented, duh.

Making a small triangle with the vector as the top point helped me get the answer! See if that helps.
