What do you think?
When I filled out the application for Case, I noticed that the website states the following, "Please note our application fee of $85.00 will ONLY be waived if the applicants have submitted and completed an application to the MSTP (MD/PhD) Program. The MSTP fee is $25.00."
To me, the word "waived" indicates that the $85 application fee is not necessary for the MD program, assuming the MSTP application is submitted. Now, I just got put on hold for the MSTP program, but considering Case's reputation I would still like to be considered for the MD program. I was told that my application is being forwarded to the MD office, but the MD office told me that my application will not be processed until I submit THEIR $85 application fee.
Am I the only person who thinks that, based on the above line from the application website, I should not have to pay an additional fee? Am I reading this wrong?
