i attended Santa Ana college before. when i input attended colleges, i choose santa ana college also known as the rancho santiago college, but when adding course work, i only have one option for rancho santiago college not santa ana. so my application get returned to me. i called pharmcas, and they didn't know why, but they said they will verify it, and let me know.
Any of you has this problem before? and how you solve it
thanks,

Is rancho a nick name or what? I would add the official name "Santa Ana College" rather than Santiago College.

I quite do not understand your questions. You said you added Santa Ana college in pharmcas, but it came out that you have Rancho santiago? You said you only have 1 option for rancho santago and not santa ana, what do you mean by that?

I see the problem here.

Santa Ana College (sac.edu) is one of two colleges in the Rancho Santiago Community College District (rsccd.edu) Arranging CCs into districts is very common in California.

How to solve this problem, though, I'm not sure.

I did some pre-requisites at a CC (ARC) that was part of a "district" also (LRCCD) and I didn't have any problems with PharmCAS, and actually never saw "LRCCD" on it, just ARC-American River College.

Are you sure you didn't mix up "Rancho Santiago" with something else when you chose your college in PharmCAS? It's possible that you missed Santa Ana College or something, I don't know... But having the wrong college on pHarmCAS would certainly cause your app. to get rejected (As you'd have no record of classes at, say, Rancho Santiago College if one exists).

It looks like there is an error in the College Information system thing where it lists "Rancho Santiago COLLEGE" but it isn't a COLLEGE, it's a college DISTRICT.

I believe this is where the fuss is coming from, and why your application got dicked up. I have no idea how to fix it besides dealing with PharmCAS...

i added Santa ana college, but when i input my coursework it appeared as Rancho Santiago College. it is supposed to be santa ana college. i called pharmcas and i got it solved jus a few minutes ago. they verified that Rancho Santiago college is also Santa Ana college

thanks guys

They're confused, because there is no such thing as Rancho Santiago College, but there IS Rancho Santiago CC District. *sigh*

Hey, whatever, you got your situation resolved and it's over. Hopefully no one else at Santa Ana CC will be going to Pharmacy school.

Your application was returned? You mean your PharmCAS app? or a supplemental for a school?

I am attending Santa Ana College. I ran into that problem as well. But, I listed on the form for transcript that Santa Ana College was part of Rancho Community College District.

I just e-submitted so I dont know if I'm going to run into the same problem as you.
