Problem with the DAT

Has anyone noticed a problem with the PAT section on the DAT recently? I took it about 4 weeks ago and there was a figure drawn wrong on the Cube section of the PAT. Has anyone else run into a problem like this? I reported it to the testing site and then tryed to follow up on it with ADA and just got the run around.

There was one figure on the PAT that I took that was very confusing (not that all of them weren't) because the lines from blocks in the front lined up exactly with lines in the back. Usually the rear blocks were staggered. This made it appear like there was a triangular block. After cursing at the drawing for a minute (@%@$% since when did they start using triangle blocks???) I decided that they intended to draw it that way for that very purpose.

Are you certain you saw an error, or could you just not have understood the figure?

Yes this is exactly what I saw also. A triangle (sort of) block. I am 99% sure there was a mistake with this drawing. I spent (wasted) a lot of time on this problem so I am fairly certain that it was a mistake. The way it was drawn, it would be impossible to stack cubes that way. If you wouldn't mind, could you report this to the ADA, maybe if they hear it from a couple of people they will take it more seriously.

when i took it, the hole-punching part was jacked up. the holes were all over the place, not in their usual 4 x 4 placements so it was really hard to tell where all the holes were...

another friend of mine said that during the angle section, the lines were squiggly...

i guess the best thing to do is to just work through it. there's not that much you can really do during the test so make sure you don't waste too much time getting pissed off at the screen...

I saw it too! Never saw anything else like that in topscore or kaplan. Mine kinda looked like the cube was only half covered. It totally shook me.

I saw the same block configuration...It was a joke and threw me for a loop. I think they put a really hard one at the beginning of each PAT section so that people would waste time...which I did...but in the end I THINK I got what they were trying to show, but I'll never know. It was a joke.
