Problems studying anatomy

Hi everyone,
Don't know whether this is the right forum to post in, but I'm having some problems when it comes to reasoning out nerve injuries. Say for example there's a laceration at the elbow joint and you're asked what movements/muscles would be affected, how would you reason that out? I get really confused with all the muscles, origins/insertions and nerves that I end up overwhelmed and usually have no idea where to start. I'd appreciate any help you can give on how to study this stuff >.<

I copy diagrams - recreate the drawings of the muscles and nerves myself and post them all over my room. I focus on one area of the body at a time and drill it until it sticks. Study groups and models have also been helpful for me. Study study study! You can always ask your TA or prof for help too.

Think about the location of the nerves and where they run. Also watch this video like 5 times. Will solve the forearm muscles for you.

But also this. I didn't use Anki for Musculoskeletal. Wish I had. Especially for nerves, blood supply, etc.

I just kept watching youtube videos on it until it stuck lol, probably not the best way. But I hate the atlases and reading anatomy texts. The video @kmp0410 posted was an amazing review of everything. But he goes fast, so make sure you know what's going on first before watching that. This video helped me with the nerve injuries and reasoning them out. Make sure you know what's going on with the anatomy beforehand though.
