Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I'm an intern who consolidated with the previously mentioned company in May. They are on the website firstaidforstudentloans.com and have adds in AMSA magazine where I found them. They promised me a 2% rebate check on the amount consolidated. I have yet to see that check. They first told me that they sent the check and it was cashed by someone else. Then they tell me a new law passed in October makes rebates illegal. Finally, now they refuse to talk to me, saying only my attorney can talk to their attorney. Like I can afford an attorney! I also have a friend who has had the same problem. So, needless to say, I would not advise doing business with them. Also, spread the word, and if anybody has had the same experience, PM me so we can get the Consumer Protection Agency involved. These guys have ripped me and undoubtedly many others off.

Oh man, that sucks. I wish you the best. Get a lawyer to at least hear your case and look over your documents.

Might as well delete this thread.
