ok, this is getting really frustrating. i'm not an OMM wiz (by far) but I know my stuff...for the most part. My problem is that the wording of these questions always, always throws me off. does anyone have a similar problem? and how do you deal with it?

yea i had a terrible time with it.
Two things helped me...reading over drjohns review, esp the "misc" section and diagnosis, and looking through savarese , which i will do again before the exam anyway (yes me, omm boy, w/e 😛 )
Dr john does a good job of explaining how "else" things are called... and read the explanations in kaplan, i found a lot of my mistakes were because of unfamiliar terms, so when they explain a question with a term you werent familiar with, write it down

It's stupid...they use 4 different terms to mean the same thing...it gets confusing. I just plug through it and use my "superior knowledge"    to get through.

I agree. Standardization of terms/basic practices would help. It is frustrating to be able to successfully diagnose & teach things like sacral ME and then get to Savarese & the exam & see completely different diagnostic methods & terminology. 😡
