Problems with PASS

Has anyone here had problems with PASS? (The application service for post-grad progs) I sent them my papers a week ago, and they claim they do not have them. I even got signature confirmation from their secretary. They don't know what to tell me at this point, so I am going to have to have my instructors fill out new eval. forms and fill out the paperwork again. It just goes to show the customer service of a monopoly.

PASS has acted like this year was the first year of operation! my beefs:

1-lost my dental transcript, had to send twice
2-made two serious errors including my citizenship status and class rank - so far only the citizenship was fixed, and its too late to even get them to fix my rank for their little correction copy to find its way to schools, i mean they are already handing out interviews! so i wrote letters to explain the situation to each school. (what they did w/my rank is that they put #/8 students instead of #/86 students. like there are 8 students in san antonio!!!!!)
3-they BILLED ME TWICE!!!!!!!!!! I thought the total was high when I agreed to it, nevermind DOUBLE that. I have filed complaints w/my bank, wrote letters, but 2 months later I still have -350 dollars.

is there anyway i can get some reparations here? i feel screwed over big time.

Wow, it sounds like PASS was the one that set the footsteps for its little brother (AADSAS) to follow in.

These sound like problems with the ADEA in general.

You DESERVE some reparations. What good is the PASS service if you have to write to each school and explain your class rank to them (/8 students?!?)?

I don't know who to tell you to call, but I wouldn't stop calling ADEA numbers until I was satisfied. You have extremely valid complaints.

Excellent point. No competitors = no options for students = what are the applicants going to do, not apply?

Easy answer. Apply and put up with the poor service.

PASS is a bunch of minimum wage workers that sit around and think their whole job is to lose your application materials that you sent in, and then make you wait on hold for hours while trying to fix all of their mistakes. I don't think I have ever heard one good thing about the PASS people ever in my life......but unfortunately they are the only way to apply.

Just keep after them, eventually they get it done.
