Professional assistant for WREB at USC in August?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It is unfair to call her pricing a rip-off, as there's no established bounds of what is "fair". Everyone is free to charge whatever they feel they are worth. When you start practicing (if you haven't already), you're going to see a huge disparity in fees. For example, I know a guy that will do crowns for as low as $250, and another guy that is charging $1800. Which one is fair?

Ultimately fmx89591277 felt like the $700 was worth it because it helped him pass, and that's what mattered the most (to him). You don't feel the same, and that's fine. Both of you made your decisions based on personal opinion.

Hello,

I just wanted to comment on my experience with Sally Schroeder as my assistant for my WREB examination at USC in Aug 2013.

First, prior to my arrival she was always available to answer any questions on the phone and she had tons of comments and previous experience on the procedures that really made me feel comfortable.

The day of the exam she was on time and ready to go . She provided all the instruments necesary for my exam , so i did not have to bring anything with me REALLY~~

During the examination she solely took charge of the paperwork and preparation of the unit assigned as well as the patient. Once i was given the green light by the examiners to start my procedure she had ANYTHING and EVERYTHING i asked for as far as instruments or supplies required.

During the procedure she was extremely pleasant to talk to which made a real impact on my test, she had interesting stories and suggestions due to her many many many years doing this !

I have to say that a person like Sally is someone that you want to have on your side during this LAST and most important step in your carrer. So if you are thinking on hiring someone you might as well hire the best, don't take a chance on this , believe me is probably the BEST investment you will do . Just think that after this you can go and start practicing earning a REALLY GOOD income. Would you want to gamble hiring someone not experienced or someone just to pass instruments? not me i want the best and someone that can really make me feel at ease and take care of business while I focus on my clinical abilities and patient.

I must say this has been a wonderful experience and will do it again all over again. By the way i PASS and moving forward to start practicing with a salary that i can only imagine !

Thanks Sally!! you rock!

Hi everybody,
I just took the WREB at USC and successfully passed. My assistant was a critical factor in achieving a passing score. She has 20+ years board-assisting, knows the school very well, knows what the examiners are looking for, and was very involved in all aspects of the procedures. I am so grateful to have had such a great assistant during such a stressful time. Especially if you are unfamiliar with the school or haven't performed those dental procedures in a long while, having an experienced and involved assistant can truly make the difference between a pass and fail. She also brought many supplies and instruments with her, including the bp cuff, curing light, Cavitron, etc., that were extremely useful. She is also very outgoing and friendly. I would highly recommend her. I am putting her contact info below:
