So - I'm a nontraditional older (so bear with me, not as technologically oriented as the younger generation!) premed student, and I currently have 2 jobs - both of which are really intense and email heavy.
I'm in the orientation part of being a scribe, and all the videos, hundreds of pages of company policy handbooks, etc, are via email and online. I'm also an EMT, just finally got my state license after passing the national - and I'm hired with a company - but we do have our own email system.
That being said, my normal "First Name, Last Name" gmail is chock full of spam, filters, and everything else. At one point it had 30,000 emails. I think it's creeping back up to 10,000.
I also shadow physicians, and have applied and been accepted to several postbacc programs and I'm attending cc next semester (in 2 weeks), but I have email for that too, and do volunteer work when I can.
Is creating an email "First Name, Last Name PreMed" At Gmail.com an unprofessional email account? Should I just use it for my jobs and healthcare volunteer and other premed activities or can I also use it when it's time to apply via AAMCAS?
Thanks in advance,
