I have 2 questions
I took a foreign language proficiency exam (passage and essay based) from NYU which is scored on 12 point scale and each point received is considered equivalent to a credit hour towards the foreign language course. I scored a perfect 12 on it and NYU said that its very rare to score above 10. Should I mention this in my app? if yes where?
I took 5-hour honors Calculus I in my freshman year....The requirement to straight take that class without any math classes in college was to score a 27 or higher in math section on ACT...... I took ACT 3 times and managed a 28 in math section on 3rd time and took this course......The university also awarded "The Math Proficiency" (i don't remember the exact name but something close to this) for the students that take this class first (without any other math classes) and also receive highest avg.....I received this "proficiency" and as part of it you also receive credit for 3-hour Pre-calc. I never really heard anything regarding something like this so is this something good to mention under awards or too common?
Thanks in advance
