Do we do racial profiling in medicine?
I would say - YES...
See the treatment of HTN for blacks.
Genetic diseases associated with Jews.
Sensitivity for narcotics Asians.
See that study with tolerance for narcotics inner London compared with rural areas.
And could be more than that.
We don't call it "racial profiling" but treatment plan or the workup diagnosis is using it.
