Hi all! Do any of you happen to know of or utilize any programs/e-mailing systems that send you the most recent big time journal publications? For example, whenever any large scale trials or publications are released, the service would send a list of all the titles from all the various journals. Thanks for the help!

There is this great app called twitter that is pretty helpful.

NEJM journal watch psychiatry is less than $100 a year and I like it because includes a brief summary of each article written with clinical practice in mind.

I use Zotero, which has a built-in RSS reader and is also a fairly good (and free) article and citation manager. Most journals publish RSS feeds of their most recent issue, so I just check Zotero every couple of weeks, get the most recent article lists from a bunch of major journals that I follow, and import/save articles that seem interesting. Makes keeping up-to-date on the literature far easier than what I was doing before. There are occasional errors with the RSS feeds, but this is a fairly minor problem.

QXMD is a decent app for this, and you can log in to your library’s proxy to get most as PDF.

I used QxMD for a bit, but I always had trouble with its ability to remained logged in to my Library's proxy. It also seemed to limit how many articles could be downloaded at a time. Both of these made for a very frustrating experience.
