program on probation?

how would one know i a program is on probation? someone said here that Kingsbrook Jewish in NY may be loosing accreditation and i someone who wants to sign w/them and i want to warn him. any info u have would be highly appreciated.

I think if you ask the PD, he/she is required to tell you the truth??? At least that's what I heard on the interview trail last year when that issue came up.

Check with ACGME.

And I agree, it would be a good idea to contact the program directly if there were any doubts.
