I recently started to teach myself computer programming and am wondering if medical school is too much material to seriously continue with it.

Any thoughts?

The general rule is that you will have time for a hobby. But just one hobby, you can’t be computer programming, leading bible study groups, training dogs, woodworking, and working on cars all at once.

Keep with it programming is going to be a part of everything in the future. I would bet it on it be more helpful than not

Absolutely. Your learning is super self paced with programming. Let me know if you want som CS book recommendations.

Contrary to popular belief, there is time in medical school to pursue personal interests and hobbies. As with everything in life, wise time management is important. So yeah, go ahead buddy!
