programs on probation!!!

Hey,

If we interview at a program which is on probation like USF tampa, and have to rank them while they are still on probation how would it work if they did not their accreditation .
Any views on that program???

If you Match, you have to go unless they outright lose their accreditation and close the program. Don't rank them if you have your doubts.

I personally ranked, and matched at a program that was on probation (OU Gas).

The PD assured me that if it were to shut down, which it didn't, they are obligated under the rules to find me another spot somewhere. It is a gamble, and you are never completely comfortable until you see the letter removing the probationary status--and btw, that was a good day!
