Those of you who used EK 101 VR: Do you think this book gets easier toward the end?
Starting around the middle of test 5, I began to get almost all of the questions correct. Now I'm in the middle of test 6. It's still going well. I'm so skeptical that it won't last. I suspect I'm still bad at VR...
Since I started the book I learned:
-Watch for answers that cover everything in another answer choice, making it the better or more complete choice.
-That if a question asks "which conclusion listed below," an answer might be wrong solely because it is not a "conclusion."
-To simplify complex question stems rather than interpret them. And not to ask if my neighbor said this, what would it mean...
-Take everything literally. Double negatives cancel out, they are not used to add emphasis.
-If a question stem makes no sense, check if the author is using a word differently than expected or has left out a comma. Ex. not from VR, "Which of the following compounds are present in urine only during pregnancy?" Meaning changes if you pause before or after the word, "only."
