Once we enter our projected coursework on our apps, must we follow it religiously and make no deviations from it? Or, can we make some changes to our schedules electives?

Of course you can change your mind. No one has a gun to your head saying you have to decide now! 🙂

You should however plan to complete any prereqs before dental school (i.e. biochem) and write this in projected coursework AND actually take and pass them. They won't let you start come August if you haven't completed all of them. Put these in definitely just so they know you're planning on it.
