Hi guys,
any idea how to promote a patho oriented website..I mean I put mine in google but it shows up on page -50 or something..I need more pathology oriented engines or sites accepting links. any idea ?

You could try to get a link to your site on Pathmax (http://www.pathmax.com). They usually have people that pick up path related sites pretty quickly; mine was on before I ever found out about the site.

You could post your URL in your user profile, or post it under the "info website" (2nd sticky) thread...

Perhaps you could review and extra-extra-extra large microscope (of course, you'd have to abbreviate it to get more hits).

Incidentally, Dicks Sporting Goods' website uses their whole name in their web address, with the (what is in hindsight) obvious shorter version selling decidedly un-sporty wares. Perhaps you could use some creative abbreviations to increase awareness? 😉

I posted my site in the sticky already.
The problem is the Google displays the pages according to their ranking..to get good ranking I need visitors. I have meta tags with the names of the big universities hoping that people will stuble across the site while they browse for good university.
