If you got a promotion at work is that considered an honor? In the AACOMAS application would that go under Awards and Honor?

Also for research work that I helped my professors with, I did not get paid for that so does that go under volunteer section in AACOMAS?

I would put this in your description part of the same entry where you mention your job.

I agree with AdemTD; I would put that into the description of the job, where you can flaunt it. 😉

And yes, your research work would go under volunteer since you were not compensated.
