Prompts too similar or do you interpret these differently?

For one of the schools on my list they are asking for 'secondary' essays when submitting primaries, but when I see these prompts I think they are essentially the same. How would you folks be interpreting the prompts?

Describe your particular interest in the <insert program here> program and any contact you have had with any students, alumni, faculty or clinicians, admissions coordinators, student affairs staff, etc. How did these influence your decision to apply?

Describe your understanding of the <insert school here> experience, how you learned of it and how it fits into your future plans?

They are different. The first is describing why you are interested in that school / how did you become interested - did any faculty, staff, or student cause your interest.
The second is asking in further detail, "yes I am interested, and upon further investigation, I believe this schools fits my core values and beliefs, and I align strongly with the schools mission which will aid me in becoming 'x' in 10 years."

Even if you think they are similar, always give different answers, as secondaries allow you to show yourself outside of your primary. If you answer the same thing twice, then you are not showing all of you efficiently.

Thanks for showing how you view the questions, and the tidbits of advice! I think it will be a useful way to frame my thoughts!
