NOVA
Pros: Low tuition, good weather, & beaches nearby - more suburbs than city life, lower cost of living possibly, friendly staff
Cons: ? Not sure but externships seemed a bit more limited than other places I looked into
ICO
Pros: Diverse patient pool, focuses more on the clinical side of optometry, great atmosphere, friendly staff, noncompetitive atmosphere (at least I didn't get the vibe), residential complex right across the st, great city
Cons: pricy tuition, clinical rotations in Lenscrafters (not a fan), exams/tests every Monday, quarter based system (I'm used to the semester based system), rotations are lottery based

thanks for letting me know, do you know anything about the clinical nature of nova's OD program? do they have very busy clinics? will you get a diverse clincial experience at nova?

unfortunately i do not know much about the clinical nature of nova's OD program - i would assume they do have busy clinics as most schools do though. ft. lauderdale is pretty close to miami so i think regardless, you'll get a diverse patient pool. have not visited the campus yet so maybe someone else can pitch in about the clinical side of nova
