Hi All,

I am part of a group of University of Michigan, School of Information students assessing the information needs of Undergraduates and non-traditional students interested in graduate opportunities in Health related fields. We are administering a brief online survey to gather data on prospective students’ information needs with regard to graduate program selection and admissions. We think that students in this forum would be a great part of our sample of prospective students. Our survey gives students a chance to think about what they are looking for in a graduate program and have input into what information graduate programs make readily available. In addition, any student who completes our survey will have a chance to win a $50 Amazon.com gift card.

What do we need?

1: We need classes offered in the morning and night. So many colleges/universities have classes only in the morning or in the afternoon.

2: We need medical school admissions committees to allow for students to take distance education classes as some of us do not have the freedom of taking classes at any time of the day as we have to work to pay for everything. It is really hard to come from no financial support system to make this work.

3: Just taking physics, general biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry are not good enough classes to judge how well a student will love being a doctor.

4: For graduate programs, I would prefer to have classes at night so we can work during the day or study during the day.
