I was interested to know if anyone has applied to Prostho programs in the nation?
I applied only to paid programs.
Please list if you applied and if you got an interview !🙂

Applied to Marquette and UIC, got interviews in 1996. Applied to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 1999, got interviewed there too. DP

How much stipend? 6000 or 8000? The best ones give 40,000 Dollar. I got one of them!😀

I applied to two three yead masters programs in prosth, one at university of florida and the other BU , I am still under review .

Is UCSF better than USC ?

i have friends who have heard from or have already interviewed at multiple places (i.e., osu, minnesota, maryland, uw, lomalinda, uic, etc). i heard the two top dogs at usc's program left, so their program is up in the air.

I have heard from Maryland, UCLA. Waiting for Mayo Clinic to answer back, soon. They take one resident every other year! Let's give it a try. They pay good. They interview only 3 or 4 ! I was one of them!😉

I happen to know the program director, Cagna. He is very good. He writes a prosthodontics textbook, which I have leafed through. You do some lab work, but also lots and lots of clinical work. There is a good TMD component as well. The stipend is also quite good, from what I understand.

You should definitely consider UT for Prosth.
