Provisionally Accepted.....?

I just logged into my NSUCOM online application, and next to status it said "provisionally accepted." Is that a normal acceptance? Anyone know what that means?

I tried to call but no one answered. Thanks for any input.

You got a phone call right? I still haven't heard a thing. What did they tell you on the phone?

yeah, I got the phone call saying I was accepted but it made me worry a bit when I checked my status stating "provisionally accepted." Maybe it says that until you get the official acceptance letter.

I was thinking that maybe it's upon graduation from undergrad?

Hey -

My status also says "provisionally accepted", and I received a phone call. My guess is the "provisionally accepted" is just their way of saying you are accepted, as long as you send in final transcripts and your deposits. When Delia called, she left a voicemail, since I was in my VCOM interview. She said "This is Delia from Nova Southeastern Osteopathic Medical School. Please give us a call back at your convenience." When I called back, she said "Congratrulations, you have been accepted. You will receive a packet in the mail with further information and instructions."

My guess is you are accepted, so CONGRATULATIONS!!! She will call you as soon as she has time to get to the rest of the phone calls. They seem to be trickling in one here, one there!

Now we wait to hear from UNECOM after Saturday, when their adcom meets. Good luck! Talk to you soon!

I just got through on the phone. It will be provisional until we send in our deposit and final transcript. They also had on record that they called me... I didn't get a call. Oh well. I'm in! Glad I checked.

I called today to find, so I could decide about my next two interview invites 🙂. Good luck. You can call them next week to find out or wait for the phone call/e-mail/snail mail. I don't know how we are notified 🙂!

you have to PAY deposit..for official acceptance.. i think...
