I have a pretty good rough draft going of my ps. My concern is that all of my ECs mentioned are dental-related which I am using to build momentum in my ps. However, I don't mention any non-dental related ECs to show who I am as a person outside of this dentistry pursuit. Does it matter? Any comments/advice?

Your PS should answer the question of why dentistry and should be more of a story rather than a summary of your experiences. It's fine if you didn't mention any non-dental related experiences. Here are a few tips given by the ADEA for writing your personal statement: Personal statement

I believe I did write mine as a story while answering why dentistry -a story telling what drew me towards dentistry, with experiences that made an impact on me (e.g. shadowing) and how they led me to do other things (e.g. oral hygiene education)...at least that's what I tried to do. I'm just not sure if it stands out though. Thank you for helping!

It's all in how you write it. Be sure to get it looked out by multiple people. Feel free to send me a copy and I'll give you my thoughts. No probs 🙂

Awesome thanks! I'll pm it to you right now.
