PS On Real Mcat-Depressed :(

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I felt like I bombed the BS on my MCAT in 2012. Ended up with a 10 in that section, which is about where I was averaging in the AAMC tests.

It's easy to walk out feeling like you did horribly. The test is relentless and it's easy to obsess over just a handful of questions you didn't know the answer to, which doesn't really happen in a practice. Then boom it's time for the next section.

I mentioned it in another thread. AAMC is testing material that is not graded and does not count towards your actual section scores. There was probably a lot of "experimental problems" part of your test that won't reflect anyone's outcome.
They are calibrating for the big change that is going to happen after the 2015 so you may have encountered concepts that you didn't study for but don't worry about it. Most people end up up pretty close to their practice test averages.
