Hi people

I've written a draft of my personal statement. I've seen some advertisements for PS review/editing services online, but I'm not sure if they'd be any helpful. Any experiences? Thanks.

If you're a current student, ask attendings in the field you plan on going into. That will be far more helpful to you than a PS editing service.

If you're a year out from school, see if you can get in touch with attendings at your prior school.

If you're an IMG, I dunno... it may help you.

Never share your PS with anybody especially online. I have seen many applicants busted due to alleged plagiarism. What happens really these companies will take yours and sell it to other applicants as well because they find it easier to copy paste rather scratch their brains to create new ones for those who request such service. Best way is to show it to an attending or a colleague that have some English expertise.
